The International Reggae Poster <a href="https://www.for9a.com/en/opportunity/category/Competitions-and-Awards" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Contest&nbsp;</a>announces its 7th call for participation, with the theme of the contest for 2020 being &ldquo;Reggae Music: Messages from Jamaica to the World&rdquo;. In the world of design and the arts, there are many poster competitions. Some focus on music, such as jazz and rock; and others on social awareness. But there is only one competition worldwide on reggae music. One of the reasons this music has spread across the globe is because reggae speaks to our hearts and our mind about a wide range of social and political issues. For this 7th contest, &nbsp;Entries need to focus on the messages that reggae and all the other genres of &nbsp;Jamaican popular music are spreading globally, with creative visual expressions that capture the energy and the vibe of Jamaican culture, at home and internationally. The objective of the International Reggae Poster Contest is to build awareness for positive reggae music and to celebrate the global achievements of reggae and its impact on the world. The term reggae, as used by the contest, encompasses all the popular Jamaican musical genres.&nbsp;<h3>Eligibility criteria:</h3><ol><li>The 7th International Reggae Poster Contest 2020 is open to all graphic designers and artists internationally.&nbsp;</li><li>Artists/designers are allowed to submit an unlimited number of original poster entries.&nbsp;</li><li>Posters should not have been published on the Internet or social media etc.</li><li>Artists/designers will retain all rights to their original poster art.</li><li>The International Reggae Poster Contest shall have the right to reproduce and distribute to third parties a limited edition (fewer than 1500 copies) &nbsp;of each winning entry in a format of 50cm x 70cm.&nbsp;</li><li>The International Reggae Poster Contest shall have the right to reproduce and distribute to third parties the posters in the International Reggae Poster Contest catalog/book in unlimited quantities and also for exhibition proposes.</li></ol><h3>Prizes:</h3>Grand Winner:<ol><li>A trip to Rototom Sunsplash European Reggae Festival: The winner will be a guest at one of the best European reggae festivals, held in Spain.
