Opportunity description
The University of Edinburgh in the United Kingdom is offering a Master Scholarship in Finance, Technology, and Politics for entry in 2021/22. The candidate will be selected based on his academic merit, his professional and personal goals, and the circumstances preventing him from continuing his education without financial support.
Eligibility Criteria:
- You can only apply for the scholarship once you have submitted an application to join the Finance, Technology, and Policy Master's program.
- You will not be eligible for this scholarship if:
- You are fully sponsored by your employer.
- You are already in receipt of a full scholarship.
- You already hold a Master's degree orPh.D. qualification.
- If the applicant is successful in being awarded a scholarship, but subsequently doesn't meet the conditions of their offer for the program or declines their offer of admission to the Master's degree at the University of Edinburgh, the scholarship will be withdrawn and awarded to another applicant. An award will be withdrawn if a student fails to meet the conditions set by the University.
Scholarship Value:
The scholarship will cover tuition fees only to the value of £25,100.
Selection Process:
The selection will be based on the following criteria:
- Academic achievements.
- The information provided in relation to financial need and/or socioeconomic circumstances that restrict the ability to continue education without substantial financial support.
- Whether you have clearly articulated future ambitions and goals relating to the postgraduate degree you have applied for
Conditions:
- Scholarships will have to be accepted within a certain timeframe in order to secure your position on the Master's program and also to secure the scholarship funding. Please note you will be notified within one month of the deadline.
- If you do not accept within the given timeframe then you will forfeit your scholarship offer. The University will then reallocate this scholarship.
- If you receive a scholarship, you will be expected to participate occasionally as an ambassador for the University of Edinburgh during and after your program.
