The University of Sussex in the UKinvites students to apply for the Mansell-Steinmueller Master’sscholarshipfor the academic year 2019-2020. To be eligible for this scholarship, you must have accepted an offer of a full-time place on one of the following master courses:
- Energy Policy: This MSc offers a broad-based, social sciences training in energy policy, focusing in particular on the role of technological innovation. You'll be taught by internationally recognized faculty from SPRU – the Science Policy Research Unit and the Sussex Energy Group, one of the largest energy policy research groups in the world
- Project Management: You’ll develop the critical skills to help you manage projects in today’s dynamic business and economic environment. You’ll be taught and supervised by leading project management experts in SPRU – Science Policy Research Unit. Using software-based games, you’ll learn to plan and manage projects. Gain a comprehensive understanding of, and develop core competencies in managing complex projects, risk and innovation
- Science and Technology Policy: Through learning with world-leading researchers and scholars, you will gain frameworks and tools to understand the complex dynamics of policy development and be able to critique and contribute to science, technology and innovation policy and industrial strategy. You will also be able to analyze science, technology and innovation policy using an array of methodologies and from a number of perspectives.
- Strategic Innovation Management: Focusing on new-product and service development in larger organizations, in both the private and public sectors, you develop an integrative approach that combines management of the market, technological and organizational changes while learning how to create value from innovation
- Sustainable Development: This interdisciplinary course focuses on policies and politics of transformations to sustainability. It helps you translate theories of socio-ecological change and technological innovation into effective policies and practices for sustainable development
