Master's Scholarships for Arab Students at Sciences Po in France 2021

In partnership with the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences (KFAS), Sciences Po in France is offering the Kuwait Excellence Scholarship for Arab Students. This scholarship intends to support the next generation of leaders and experts coming from the Arab World and the Gulf Region and is dedicated to graduate students admitted to Sciences Po at the Master’s level.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Nationals from Arab countries, including the Gulf Region, may apply. 
• Applicants must be first-time degree-seeking students in France.
• Applicants must have: 

1. submitted a full application to Sciences Po for the 2021/2022 intake (including all supporting documents and references) via the Sciences Po Admissions Portal,
2. applied to any of the 7 graduate schools of Sciences Po, in any of the two-year Master's programs.

• Students applying to a dual degree program are not eligible. Students applying to a one-year Master's program are not eligible.

Scholarship Conditions and Requirements:

• Multiple scholarships will be awarded on a competitive basis to the best candidates based on their academic record and their project at Sciences Po. 
• In principle, the scholarship goes towards covering tuition fees at Sciences Po. 
• Each recipient is awarded up to 10,000 Euros per year (ie. 20,000 Euros for two years of study). 
• The scholarship is offered for the entire length of study at Sciences Po on condition of sufficient academic performance (top 50% of the class). Therefore, students must show sufficient academic performance over the course of the first year. Students who do not meet this requirement will have their scholarship withdrawn in the second year. 
• The scholarship is dependent on the awardees completing their course of study at Sciences Po. A change in the master's program will lead to the withdrawal of the scholarship. 
• This scholarship is offered for students beginning their studies in August 2021 and may not be deferred.
