Opportunity description
Ecuador Poster Biennial is inviting design students, graphic designers, architects, artists, photographers, and visual communicators, in general, to participate in its posters competition. The competition accepts designs from all parts of the world and includes posters of different categories.
Eligibility Criteria:
The competition is open to design students, graphic designers, architects, artists, photographers, and visual communicators, in general, can participate, regardless of age or nationality.
Competition Categories:
- Category A: Advertising Posters.
- Category B: Social, Political and Cultural posters.
- Category C: Posters by Students.
- Category D: Animated Poster.
- Category E: Visit Ecuador.
Conditions:
- All entries must be submitted as digital files first. Size: 700px x 1000px (Vertical), RGB, 72 dpi, JPG, 500kb (Maximum)
- The number of entries submitted by each participant is unlimited.
- Participation is free.
- All submitted works are part of the archive of the Ecuador Poster Biennial and will not be returned. Organizers have the right to exhibit and publish the works submitted for non - commercial purposes.
Awards:
Gold, Silver, and Bronze will be Awarded mentions in each category (A, B, C, D, and E).
Application:
Option 1:
- Print 2 copies of their chosen work and send them to Quito, Ecuador; (address labels will be sent to each selected designer by email privately).
- It is recommended printing work in the standard size of 70cm x 100cm although there are no special requirements.
- It is very important to use domestic mail to your country.
- Shipment must take place no commercial value declared and should bear the phrase "no commercial value" on its packaging.
- The sender is responsible for customs risks.
- The Poster Biennial Ecuador can not accept posters abused or damaged.
Option 2:
- If you want, the Poster Biennial Ecuador can print your posters in Quito, Ecuador.
- In this case need to send the file: 300 dpi, size 55cm x 85cm to info@ecuadorposterbienal.com and pay USD $ 40 for each work through Western Union. Time limit for receipt until August 20, 2020.
