Online Volunteer Opportunity with the UN: Design of Social Media Content

The United Nations Resident Coordinator Office in Kuwait is offering an online volunteer opportunity for the design of social media content; infographics, videographics, brochures and flyers.

Background and Objectives:-

• The Online Volunteer with experience in Graphic Design will work under the direct supervision of the Associate Development Coordination Officer, Programme Communication and Advocacy, in the United Nations Resident Coordinator Office in the State of Kuwait.

• The integration of social media platforms, including social networking tools—such as Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and Snapchat forms a critical component of the UNRCO in Kuwait communications strategy. 

• Tasks will include and not limited to: UNTalk webinar flyers, posts to mark International Days in Kuwait context, UN75 Campaign survey material, UNCT brochure, RCO brochure, video compilations.

Requirements:-

• To get accepted in this volunteer opportunity, you should:
• Have a proven track record in graphic / web material design with experience in designing document layouts. 
• Have in-depth knowledge of graphic design applications, good verbal and written communication skills. 
• Have a degree in graphic design/ related field.
• You must be good at English and Arabic.

Tasks:-

The united Nations is looking for 2 creative and motivated online volunteers to:

• Support its team with creating designs and artwork used in the UNCT social media accounts and website. 

• Create a design flyer for the UNTalks, infographics of the UN’s policy papers and seminars, videographics to promote UN75 Survey, Kuwait UNCT Brochure, RCO brochure. The design and its layout should follow its corporate design guidelines which will be shared with the online volunteer in advance.

• Develop posts for social media to mark international days.
