The United Nations Volunteers program is offering a volunteer opportunity to support the design of the annual UNITLIFE Report. UNITLIFE is the only United Nations fund exclusively dedicated to fighting chronic malnutrition by investing in women’s empowerment, climate-smart agriculture, and nutrition education. Chronic malnutrition is one of the most common diseases in the world, affecting 1 in every 5 children. It is a result of poor nutrition during the first 1,000 days of a child’s life and has irreversible and lifelong consequences on the growth of children’s bodies, the development of their brains, and their immune system.
Eligibility Criteria:
- The Online Volunteer should be fluent in English, and proficient in French.
- Candidates should have strong knowledge of and experience in the use of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, or any other appropriate technical software.
- Experience with development agencies, other United Nations agencies, and international non-governmental organizations is a plus.
Main Tasks:
UNITLIFE is currently looking for an Online Volunteer to support the design of its Annual Report. The Online Volunteer will be expected to present at least two proposals of a creative design for this first publication of UNITLIFE. The report will be published in both French and English and it will be about 2,000 to 2,500 words. The Online Volunteer will be supported by and reporting to the UNITLIFE’s Communication and Advocacy Specialist.
