Opportunity to Win valuable Prizes with Qurbah's Online Essay Competition

Qurbah platform offers an opportunity to participate in the Qurbah essay contest. This competition is presented to the public in order to involve them in supporting the culture and to encourage the talented writers to write down their talent to the public.

Contest Stages

The competition is in two stages:

• The first stage is an evaluation by the editing team.
• The second stage is to publish the magazine on the site, then publish it on the Social Media and start the public voting.

Competition Evaluation System:

• 70% rate for the editing team of Qurbah.
• 30% rate for audience engagements on Social Media, where the reaction of like or love on Twitter and Facebook will be considered as a point and the share and re-tweet as two points. This is for the post on publishing the article on the blog in the second stage, which begins on 3/5.

Requirements:

• The number of words in the article is at least 600 words.
• The address number is not more than 50 characters.
• The article should be unprecedented in publication.
• Take into consideration the creativity in the content of the article and not being shallow.
• Keep away from extremist ideas.
• The article is being written in a word file and the font size of the main title should be 20 and for the subtitle 18 and the content of the article itself 16.
• The registration form shall include personal information about the writer and a personal photograph of him.
• May be literary, opinion, literary or historical content, etc.

Competition Awards:

Winners will receive a voucher for purchasing books from the Edrak Library with the following values:

• 500 EGP for the first place
• 300 EGP for second place
• 150 EGP for the third place
