The University of Lincoln is offering the Lincoln Egypt Scholarship that is aimed to support high-achieving postgraduate students from across Egypt 2019.
About scholarship
This scholarship is competitive and will only be awarded to candidates who demonstrate excellence in academia, extracurricular or personal endeavor. Candidates will be assessed by completing a 300 word statement as part of the Scholarship Application Form. Also, candidates will be required to write a 150 word statement which demonstrates their career aspirations and how their studies at the University of Lincoln will help them to achieve their goals on the long run.
Funding
This scholarship offers a tuition fees reduction and are valued at £5,000.
Eligibility
In order to apply for this scholarship, prospective students must meet the following criteria:
- Be a national of (or permanently domiciled in) Egypt and have not previously studied in the UK within the last year.
- Already hold a Conditional or Unconditional Offer from the University of Lincoln for a full-time postgraduate taught or Master's by Research program commencing in September 2019.
- Have been awarded a Bachelors degree from a recognized university with a minimum GPA score of 65% (equivalent to a 2:2 in the UK).
- Meet the English language requirements of their intended course of study – this typically ranges from an IELTS 6.0 – 7.0 or equivalent.
Terms and condition
- Applicants who have been awarded this scholarship must choose to accept or decline the award, and pay a CAS deposit (where applicable) by the dates given in the award confirmation email.
