Its research tackles some of the world’s most pressing issues in areas as diverse as infection and immunity, human rights, climate change, and cryptography and information security. The University of Bristol offers Scholarships for those interested in completing their postgraduate studies through Phyllis Mary Morris Bursaries.

Applying Conditions:

You can apply for a Phyllis Mary Morris Bursary if you:

  1. are classed as an overseas student for fee purposes.
  2. have applied to start a qualifying one-year, full-time taught postgraduate programme at the University of Bristol in September 2019.

ُEligibility:

To be eligible for the University’s Postgraduate scholarships, students must:

  1. Be an applicant to any one year, a full-time postgraduate programme at the University of Bristol;
  2. Start their postgraduate programme in September 2019;
  3. Be classed as an overseas student for fee-paying purposes;
  4. Not already be in receipt of other funding which would equate to more than the full cost of tuition fees alongside a Bristol scholarship.

Funding:

  1. Six bursaries worth £2,000 each.
  2. The awards can be used towards living costs.

Qualifying Programmes:

  1. MSc in Climate Change Science & Policy
  2. MSc in Environmental Policy & Management
  3. MSc Human Geography: Society & Space

Assessment Process:

  1. We will use the same application process as for the Think Big Postgraduate Scholarships.
  2. If you apply for the Phyllis Mary Morris Bursary, you will also automatically be considered for the Think Big Postgraduate Scholarship. You do not need to submit two separate applications.
