<p>The University of Lincoln has announced the 50% Global <a href="https://www.for9a.com/en/opportunity/category/Scholarships" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"><strong>Scholarships&nbsp;</strong></a>to be offered to the highest achieving international applicants joining the University of Lincoln in 2019.</p><h3><strong>About The Scholarship:&nbsp;</strong></h3><p>The scholarships are available to international undergraduate or postgraduate coursework students. And these scholarships are awarded in any discipline offered by the university. For this application, international applicants must have demonstrated the highest levels of excellence in academia, extracurricular and personal endeavor. The scholarships will be awarded as a reduction of the student&#39;s university fees.</p><h3><strong>Eligibility:</strong></h3><ul><li><strong>Eligible Countries</strong>: International students outside of the European Union and have not previously studied in the UK are invited for this application.</li><li><strong>Entrance Requirements:</strong> Applicants must be International students.</li><li>Be a national of (or permanently domiciled in) a country outside of the European Union and have not previously studied in the UK within the last year.</li><li>Already hold a Conditional or Unconditional Offer from the University of Lincoln for a full-time <a href="https://www.for9a.com/en/opportunity/category/Scholarships/Bachelor" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"><strong>undergraduate</strong></a>, postgraduate taught or <a href="https://www.for9a.com/en/opportunity/category/Scholarships/Master" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"><strong>Master&rsquo;s&nbsp;</strong></a>by Research program commencing in September 2019.</li><li>Meet the English language requirements of their intended course of study &ndash; this typically ranges from an IELTS 6.0 &ndash; 7.0 or equivalent.</li></ul><h3><strong>Selection Criteria: &nbsp;</strong></h3><p>This scholarship is competitive and will only be awarded to candidates with the highest academic qualifications/demonstration of personal and extracurricular endeavor. The above will be assessed by completing a 450 word statement (across two questions) as part of the Scholarship Application Form.</p><p>Note: The University endeavors to notify all candidates of the outcome of their scholarship application within 10 days of the closing date.</p><h3><strong>Terms And Conditions:&nbsp;</strong></h3><ul><li>Merit Scholarships are not automatically awarded, and are subject to receiving an offer of study, meeting the relevant University of Lincoln International Scholarship criteria as specified on the university website, submitting a University of Lincoln International Scholarship Application Form, and successfully being awarded the scholarship.</li><li>At the discretion of the University of Lincoln, a Merit Scholarship may conditionally be awarded to an International Student (irrespective of having received an offer of study) following a scholarship interview. This is subject to meeting the necessary entry requirements for the intended Program of Study and the relevant Merit Scholarship criteria.</li><li>Applicants who have been awarded this scholarship must choose to accept or decline the award, and pay a CAS deposit (where applicable) by the dates given in the award confirmation email.</li><li>Applications received after the final scholarship deadline may be considered at the discretion of the University of Lincoln&rsquo;s Director of International.</li><li>International Students who are unsuccessful in obtaining a Lincoln 50% Global Scholarship may be awarded an alternative Merit Scholarship (where applicable), at the discretion of the University of Lincoln&rsquo;s Director of International.</li></ul><h3><strong>About the University:</strong></h3><p>The University of Lincoln is a public research university founded in 1861 in the cathedral city of Lincoln, England.
