<p>The University of Waterloo in <a href="https://www.for9a.com/en/country/Canada" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Canada</a> is offering the Arthur F. Church Entrance <a href="https://www.for9a.com/en/opportunity/category/Scholarships" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Scholarships</a> for both Canadian and International participants in order to take an <a href="https://www.for9a.com/en/opportunity/category/Scholarships/Bachelor" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">undergraduate</a> degree program at the university. This fund is made possible by a donation from Arthur F. Church to encourage exceptional students to attend Waterloo and to assist them in their scholarly pursuits.</p><h3>Award Amount:</h3><p>Two scholarships, valued at $10,000 each, are awarded annually to outstanding students entering the first year in the Faculty of Engineering: one to a student in Mechatronics Engineering and one to a student in Computer Engineering or Systems Design Engineering.</p><h3>Selection Criteria:</h3><p>&nbsp;Selection is made on the basis of academic excellence and extracurricular achievements as assessed through the Admission Information Form.</p><h3>Eligibility Criteria:</h3><p><strong>Eligible Programs:</strong></p><ul><li>Engineering: Computer Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Systems Design Engineering.</li></ul><p><strong>Citizenship:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Canadian/Permanent resident,&nbsp;</li><li>International/study permit student.</li></ul><p><strong>Admission Requirements:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Candidates must be completed a year 12 with a minimum of 70% marks or equivalent.</li></ul><p><strong>Language Requirement:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>If a candidate&rsquo;s national language is not English, then they have to demonstrate the English language ability by the TOEFL or IELTS test.</li></ul><h3>About the University of Waterloo:</h3><p>Waterloo is at the forefront of innovation and is home to transformational research and inspired learning.
