Opportunity description

St. Cross College invites students from all over the world to apply for a Master of Philosophy scholarship in the History of Science to begin studying at the University of Oxford in the academic year 2019-2020. 

Requirements:

[1] Applicants must list St. Cross College as their first choice college on their graduate admission application in order to be eligible to apply for this scholarship

[2] Preference will be given to applicants with an interest in the history of physics for their Master of Philosophy dissertation topic

Value of scholarship: 

The Scholarship has a value of £10,000 per year and is tenable for two years coterminous with fee liability. The successful scholar will have priority for a room in College accommodation (at the standard rent) for the first year of their course and will be expected to engage with the termly activities of the St. Cross Centre for the History and Philosophy of Physics.
