<p>The University of York in the <a href="https://www.for9a.com/en/country/United-Kingdom" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"><strong>UK</strong></a> offers fully-funded <a href="https://www.for9a.com/en/opportunity/category/Scholarships/PhD" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"><strong>PhD</strong></a> <a href="https://www.for9a.com/en/opportunity/category/Scholarships" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"><strong>scholarships</strong></a> for overseas research students.</p><h3>Eligibility Criteria:</h3><ol><li>Open to International (non-EU) students only.</li><li>You must:<ul><li>have applied for a place of study on a PhD program at York by 31 January 2020</li><li>be liable to pay tuition fees at the international rate</li><li>start your research studies in the 2020/21 academic year (between 1 October 2020 and 1 September 2021)</li></ul></li><li>You must not hold a 100% tuition fee scholarship from elsewhere or be fully sponsored.</li><li>Distance learning students are eligible to apply, however, if successful, they would be awarded a full fee waiver only.</li><li>Applicants for the following pathways are not eligible to apply for the YGRS Overseas Research Scholarships:<ul><li>Hull York Medical School</li><li>International Pathway College</li><li>Kaplan International College London</li><li>Students applying for MPhil or MA by Research programs</li></ul></li></ol><h3>Selection Criteria:</h3><p>Each department selects one preferred and one reserve nominee.
