Scholarship for Doctor of Philosophy at Queensland University in Australia

Queensland University offers a scholarship for PhD students to study at The University of Queensland in Australia. This scholarship is open to Doctor of Philosophy candidates researching wildlife. $7000 Top-Up Scholarship (of up to 3 years). 

Eligibility Criteria:

• This scholarship is open to Doctor of Philosophy candidates
• Applicants must be in receipt of or apply for and be awarded a living allowance scholarship of at least the Research Training Program rate ($28,092 for 2020, indexed annually) to be eligible to receive this top-up.
• You must be assessed by the Graduate School as meeting all conditions for admission to the research higher degree program.
• You must complete this PhD full-time and onshore in Australia.
• You must be nominated by an enrolling school or institute at UQ.

Scholarship Conditions: 

• All philanthropic scholarship recipients must adhere to the conditions of UQ research and travel scholarships, including reporting and progress requirements.
• Holders of these philanthropic scholarships must acknowledge them in any paper that is published as a result of the research conducted while the recipient held the scholarship.
• Donors may also invite the recipient to present on the work conducted as part of the scholarship, in which case they must comply or risk losing the scholarship.

Award:

$7000 Top-Up Scholarship (of up to 3 years). Overseas Health Cover will provided for successful international applicant.
