<p>Technical University of Denmark is offering a <a href="https://www.for9a.com/en/opportunity/category/Scholarships/PhD" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"><strong>PhD&nbsp;</strong></a><a href="https://www.for9a.com/en/opportunity/category/Scholarships" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"><strong>scholarship&nbsp;</strong></a>which is a part of a project aiming to develop new technologies for cost-effective monitoring of eelgrass in Danish waters. It is a project between the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) and the University of Southern Denmark (SDU) and the project will be in close co-operation with both. On a daily basis, you will work in an active research environment based in Nyk&oslash;bing Mors (Danish Shellfish Centre, DTU Aqua). An extensive exchange stay at SDU is planned as part of the PhD project.</p><h3>&nbsp;Eligibility Criteria:</h3><ul><li>Candidates may apply prior to obtaining their <a href="https://www.for9a.com/en/opportunity/category/Scholarships/Master" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"><strong>master&#39;s&nbsp;</strong></a>degree, but cannot begin before having received it.</li><li>Applications and enclosures received after the deadline will not be considered.</li><li>All interested candidates irrespective of age, gender, race, disability, religion or ethnic background are encouraged to apply.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications:</h3><ul><li>The applicant has experience in biology or biotechnology, and that you are willing to work in collaboration with colleagues as well as independently &ndash; in the lab.</li><li>The candidate should be with the following expertise:</li></ul><ol><li>Two-year master&#39;s degree (120 ECTS points) in Aquatic Science &amp; Technology or similar degree with an academic level equivalent to a two-year master&#39;s degree.</li><li>Previous experience in marine, aquatic or ecological research</li><li>Proficiency in written and spoken English</li><li>Some experience in planning and conducting field work</li><li>Interest in research and for working within the field of marine and aquatic sciences</li></ol><ul><li>Furthermore, it is an advantage if the candidate has experience in GIS and drone technology.</li></ul><h3>Required Documents:</h3><p>Applications must be submitted as <strong>one pdf file&nbsp;</strong>containing all materials to be given consideration.
