Opportunity description

Hertie School is offering a scholarship for students with an undergraduate degree in the natural sciences or engineering who wish to combine their previous trainingwith the tools and knowledge necessary for effective policy making in all sectors or careers in the international arena. One full scholarship worth 34,500 euro

Eligibility criteria

  • You must have completed an undergraduate degree(bachelor's or equivalent) in order to be admitted. 
  • If you do not yet have your undergraduate degree at the time of application, please indicate when you will receive it on the online application form. 
  • You must complete all of your undergraduate academic course work and exams before 1 September 2022 in order to matriculate.
  • Open to applicants of all nationalities
  • Available for:
  1. Master of Public Policy,
  2. Master of International Affairs
  3. Master of Data Science for Public Policy

Required Documents:

  • Your current CV indicating your academic background, work experience and voluntary activities. Please do not include a photo on your CV.
  • A letter of motivation explaining your specific interest in the study programme and how it relates to your professional aspirations. Your letter should be 500-900 words.
  • Copies of official academic transcripts of all attended universities. 
  1. Every transcript must include a transcript key (an explanation of the grading system). 
  2. If not in English, They require a certified translation into English. 
  3. Hard copies are not required until after acceptance into the programme.
  • A copy of an English proficiency certificate (for non-native speakers).
  • Contact two referees for letters of reference
