<p>The International Water Center (IWC) offers a partial tuition <a href="https://www.for9a.com/en/opportunity/category/Scholarships/Master" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"><strong>Master&#39;s Scholarship</strong></a> to all the international applicants who want to enroll in the Master of Integrated Water Management program. IWC believes that skilled water leaders are critical to addressing complex water challenges across the world that&#39;s why it specifies a fund of up to <strong>A$9,500</strong> to help in this task.</p><h3>Eligibility:</h3><ol><li>Partial scholarships are available to support self-funded international students who do not receive any full-tuition <a href="https://www.for9a.com/en/opportunity/category/Scholarships" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"><strong>scholarship</strong></a>.</li><li>To receive a partial scholarship, eligible students must receive a full offer of admission from Griffith University for the IWC Master of Integrated Water Management (or Graduate Certificate or Graduate Diploma) commencing in Trimester 1, 2020 and have successfully enrolled in the Program.</li><li>There is no application required for the partial scholarship. The partial scholarship will be paid directly to Griffith University and the IWC will liaise directly with Griffith to credit the partial scholarship towards the tuition fees.</li></ol><h3>Benefits:</h3><p><strong>The total value for this scholarship is A$9,500, which covers:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>A$7000</strong> towards the cost of tuition for the Master of Integrated Water Management program</li><li>Return air travel up to the value of <strong>A$2500</strong> to Australia for all full-time Master program applicants.</li></ul><h3>Scholarship Conditions:</h3><ol><li>Partial scholarships are available only to cover part of the tuition fees for the IWC Program (Masters, Graduate Diploma, Graduate Certificate) commencing in Trimester 1, 2020 and are available in the year of offer only.</li><li>Partial scholarships cannot be used in conjunction with an IWC full scholarship or any other full-tuition scholarship and will be forfeited under such conditions.</li><li>Recipients are required to declare to IWC any provider of full-tuition scholarship when enrolling into the Program. Recipients are required to inform IWC in writing if their circumstances change during the course of the Program.</li><li>Before booking their flights, students must send a copy of their itinerary and estimated costs to the IWC Education Officer at <a href="mailto:education@watercentre.org" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">education@watercentre.org</a>. If pre-approved, IWC will send an email notification to the student who will then be able to proceed with their booking and pay for their flights.</li><li>Original tickets and flight receipts must be provided to the IWC office upon arrival in Brisbane, Australia. Refunds for the flight to Brisbane will be processed after the recipient has successfully passed the Graduate Certificate (trimester 1) of the program. Refunds will be processed after the final marks have been released by Griffith in July 2020.</li><li><strong>The Partial scholarship will terminate if:</strong></li></ol><ul><li>The Recipient withdraws from the Program.</li><li>The Recipient does not conform to the Terms and Conditions of the Partial Scholarship.</li><li>.The Recipient does not conform to Griffith University&rsquo;s rules and policies.</li><li>The recipient does not resume the program at the conclusion of a period of approved leave of absence or does not make arrangements for the approval of an extension to the period of leave of absence.</li></ul><h3>Responsibilities:</h3><p>Scholarship Recipients may be expected to participate in extra-curricular activities beyond the MIWM Program regular coursework requirements, which may include but are not limited to:</p><ol><li>Collaborating with IWC&rsquo;s marketing department to provide photos, videos, interviews and/or written testimonials for promotional purposes.</li><li>Providing up to three hours per week or intermittently for research activities, as required by the IWC Education Director.</li><li>Presenting research at selected conferences during the program, as designated by IWC.</li></ol><p><strong>Failure to participate in the aforementioned activities - when required by IWC- may result in the forfeiture of the scholarship.</strong></p><p dir="ltr"><strong>See more available <a href="https://www.for9a.com/en/opportunity/category/Scholarships/PhD">Phd scholarships</a> on For9a</strong></p><p dir="ltr"><strong>See more available <a href="https://www.for9a.com/en/country/Australia">opportunities in Australia</a> on For9a</strong></p>
