Otago Polytechnic in New Zealand is offering scholarships for international students applying for postgraduate diplomas, graduate diplomas, bachelor's, New Zealand diplomas, and certificate programs at any of its three campuses or a master's degree at its Auckland campus.
Scholarship Amount:
Master Scholarships:
The Master Scholarships provide $7,000 for the Master of Applied Management.
Postgraduate Diploma Scholarships:
The Postgraduate Diploma Scholarships provide $5,000 for postgraduate diploma programs.
Graduate Diploma Scholarships:
The Graduate Diploma Scholarships provide $4,000 for graduate diploma programs.
Bachelor Scholarships:
The Bachelor Scholarships provide $5,000 each year for three years toward bachelor’s degree programs.
New Zealand Diploma Scholarships:
The New Zealand Diploma Scholarships provide $4,000 a year toward New Zealand diplomas.
Certificate Scholarships:
The Certificate Scholarships provide $2,000 for certificate and graduate certificate programs.
Terms and Conditions:
- Scholarships are available for all Otago Polytechnic campuses.
- To receive a scholarship in their second year, New Zealand Diploma students must achieve at least a B average in their first year.
- To receive a scholarship in their second and third year, Bachelor students must achieve at least a B average in the previous year.
- Students (or agents on behalf of students) must apply online for a program.
- Students must meet all entry requirements for the program.
- Subject to program availability.
- Subject to class capacity. For the Auckland campus, the minimum cohort size is 14, except for the Bachelor of Information Technology which has a minimum cohort size of 10. If the minimum class size not achieved, the scholarship will be rolled over to the next intake.
- For students with RPL, the scholarship amount will be applied pro-rata to the remaining courses.
- Scholarships can be combined for pathway programmes. e.g – NZCEL (L5) $ 2,000 + PGDAM $ 5,000 = $ 7,000 scholarship.
- Concurrent certificates are eligible for a further $2,000 scholarship.
