Lund University invites students admitted to the Master’s Program in Industrial Design to Ingvar Kamprad scholarship. An applicant can apply for one or two different scholarships depending on their country of origin.
Scholarship for Living Expenses:
The scholarship was founded in 2001 and aims to help students with difficulties in affording the living costs in Sweden.
Eligibility:
- This scholarship is opened to all students admitted to the program.
- The selection of scholarship recipients is based on a personal motivation statement.
Funding:
Each of the two scholarships awarded every year is for 100,000 SEK per year (about 10,000 EUR) and aims to cover the costs of living and accommodation for ten months, from August to May, during the two years of study.
Scholarships for Tuition Fees:
When the Swedish government decided to apply tuition fees for non-EU/EEA students, the Stichting IKEA Foundation established two new scholarships for tuition fees.
Eligibility:
- The selection of scholarship recipients is based on the applicants’ portfolio, and the tuition fees will be paid directly to Lund University.
- This scholarship is only opened to non-EU/EEA citizens who are admitted to the program.
Funding:
Each scholarship is 210,000 SEK (about 19700 EUR) per year for two years.
