<p>Caterpillar has launched its annual <a href="https://www.for9a.com/opportunity/category/%D8%AC%D9%88%D8%A7%D8%A6%D8%B2-%D9%88%D9%85%D8%B3%D8%A7%D8%A8%D9%82%D8%A7%D8%AA" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"><strong>competition</strong></a> for the best story. This annual award is given to the best story of no more than 1,500 words for children aged 7&ndash;11. And this year, they&#39;re very happy to announce the second prize of a week&rsquo;s retreat at the marvelous Tyrone Guthrie Centre in Co. Monaghan, Ireland.&nbsp;</p><h3><strong>Eligibility Criteria:</strong></h3><ol><li>The Prize is open to anyone over 16.</li><li>Entries must be entirely the work of the entrant and must never have been published, self-published, published online or broadcast. &nbsp; &nbsp;</li><li>You can enter as many stories as you like.</li><li>Story words mustn&#39;t exceed 1500 word</li><li>The name of the author must not appear on the same page as the story.</li><li>All entries must be in English.</li><li>Each entry must be in a new sheet.</li><li><span>No corrections can be made after receipt, or fees refunded.</span></li><li><span>Worldwide copyright of each entry remains with the author, but The Caterpillar will have the unrestricted right to publish the winning&nbsp;</span><span>stories in the winter 2019 issue of The Caterpillar and any relevant promotional material.</span></li><li><span>The judge&#39;s decision is final and no individual correspondence can be entered into.&nbsp;</span></li><li>If you require acknowledgment of receipt of your entry: enclose a stamped addressed postcard marked &#39;ACKNOWLEDGEMENT&#39; &nbsp;(include international reply coupon if entering from overseas) in case of postal entry.
