Opportunity description
Students With A Narrative (SWAN) is offering SWAN Film Festival which is an annual free-to-enter film competition for students studying creative arts across High School Years 11 and 12, training colleges (Certificates, Diplomas, and Advanced Diplomas), and Universities (Bachelor'slevel).
Competition Rules:
- Short Film Length
- All films are required to be 8-10 minutes
- All animations are required to be 2-3 minutes
- All entries must be original work that hasn't previously been screened or posted online.
Awards:
This year, there are seven categories to be won:
- Best Film: High School $100
- Best Film: Higher Education $100
- Best Animation: High School $100
- Best Animation: Higher Education $100
- Best Use of Theme $500
- Viewers' Choice $500
- Best Overall $500
Important Dates:
- Submissions open: Monday, 31 August
- Submissions close: Thursday, 12 November
- Results announced: Sunday, 06 December
- Screening: Saturday, 12 December

Students With A Narrative (SWAN), is a charity for students who have an interest in the creative industries. Our objective is to create a platform for these students and motivate them to express their creativity and share their voices whilst enhancing their skills.
