The KU in Germany is offering academically qualified international students who are in financial need a scholarship in order to promote internationalization at the university. This scholarship is funded by the Bavarian State Ministry of Education, Science, and the Arts.
Requirements:

- You have not yet exceeded the maximum funding period (36 months) for this scholarship.
- You are enrolled as a student at the KU (Eichstätt campus or Ingolstadt campus) during the funding period
- Advanced studies with good study performance (from 3rd semester onwards)
- Financial need

Scholarship Benefits:
The allocated scholarship includes 336.00 € per month, and the scholarship is always awarded for a period of 5 months. If you would like to be funded for a further period, you must re-apply with all necessary documents.
About the Institution:
The Katholische Universität Eichstätt-Ingolstadt is a Roman Catholic research university in Eichstätt and Ingolstadt, Bavaria, Germany.
Compared to other German universities (e.g. University of Heidelberg) it is a rather small institution (with 5,300 students in summer 2016); nevertheless, it is the largest private university in Germany. The university has the main campus in Eichstätt (the buildings being within walking distance from the town center) and another one (the Faculty of Economics) in Ingolstadt, site of the first Bavarian university in 1472.

- At least one letter of recommendation from a KU professor (degree-seeking students) or a professor from your home university (exchange students).
- A CV in tabular form in English.
- Aetter of motivation (one page).
- Proof of nationality.
