UN Volunteers platform is offering an online volunteer opportunity, as AGE Network is looking for five qualified volunteers in the field of Graphic Design and creativity to join the Editorial team of our gender lens Magazine "The Moment for Women Magazine."
TheMomentforWomen is a gender lens magazine – published monthly to tell the stories of women and girls around the world. The Magazine focuses on Women’s human rights, health, economic and inclusive governance among others.
Volunteer duration and working hours:
11-20 hours per week for overall 20 weeks.
Eligibility criteria:
- Volunteer with a strong background in graphic designs, media and Journalism, and experience working in the media and news sector will be highly welcomed.
- Priority will be given to Volunteers who have a proven track record of relevant experiences and are adept at creative designing as well as conversant in the use of modern design technology and software.
- Volunteers must be willing to engage for a long period of time as a member of the Editorial team of The MfW Magazine.
- Ability to communicate in English.
Volunteer task:
The successful candidates will assist in designing the pages and cover of the magazine for publishing as well as daily social media posts to highlight the contents of the Magazine on social media for each monthly issue. The Volunteers will work alongside our Editors.
