Volunteer Online with UN: Installation of an open source (CiviCRM) for a Case Management system

UN Volunteers platform is offering an online volunteer opportunity, as Life Makers Foundation in Egypt is looking for a volunteer to help in installation of an open source (CiviCRM) for a Case Management system.

Life Makers Organziation adopts a multi-directional programs seeking to alleviate poverty in Egypt and respond to the basic needs of the most vulnerable and marginalized groups, including women heads of house holds, refugees and underprivileges groups. through which the Organziation provide a range of interrelated services including Health care services, Education, sustainable income generation businesses and humanitarian Aid. in doing so, the foundation interact with more than 100 thousand individual beneficiaries (approx. 35000 families under the poverty line). to improve the quality of the provided services, the Organziation requires a comprehensive case management system to manage, monitor and evaluate provided services and ensure quality implmnetation on timely manner. The CM system will enhance the organization performance and the delivery of its services 

Volunteer duration and working hours:

11-20 hours per week for 10 weeks.

Eligibility criteria:

• MySQL PHP 7.3 WordPress CiviCRM 
• Ability to communicate in Arabic and English.

Volunteer task:

The volunteer will support the organization to install CiviCRM open source to adopt a comprehensive case management system. This will allow organization to track a complex sequence of interactions to manage, monitor and evaluate the different interventions/services provided to our beneficiaries. specific tasks and responsibilities include:

• Review CIVICRM installation guide and requirements:

• Install CIVICRM on WordPress
• Create MySQL database required to run CIVICRM
