UN Volunteers platform is offering an online volunteer opportunity, as The Jadir Taekwondo Association is looking for 4 online volunteers with experience in NGO fundraising to join its team.
The Jadir Taekwondo Association (AJTKD) is a not-for-profit organization based in Brazil committed to assisting children and youth in social vulnerability through social and sports projects. AJTKD currently works with various cross-cutting themes, from environmental education to women empowerment, and has assisted over 7.000 children and youth in 20 years of activities. We want to expand our service capacity and we are looking for financial resources for the implementation of new projects.
Volunteer duration and working hours:
6-10 hours per week for 12 weeks.
Eligibility criteria:
- Good knowledge in researching donors and writing proposals.

Volunteer task:
Some of the tasks you'll be performing are:
- planning fundraising strategies;
- researching potential donors and funding opportunities;
- writing sponsorship letters/emails and project proposals;
- assistance in effective communication with potential donors.
- All meetings and communication will be online through videoconference and email.
