UN Volunteers platform is offering an online volunteer opportunity, as UNDP country office Lebanon is looking for one creative and motivated online volunteer with knowledge of security operations to support our security Management Office to develop a security incident report by designing 3 or 4 graphs of trends in security incidents that have occurred in the past six months, using data that will be obtained from the PowerBI app.
Security Incident Report is developed to enable Security Manager to provide sound advise while enabling programme activities in challenged environments. Also, Programme Managers benefit from accessing security incidents data to develop projects that supports the community. User friendly platforms such as Power BI enables UNDP personnel analyze and visualize these data. Data visualization is a quick and easy way to convey concepts or information in a universal manner. Developing a good Security Incident Report based on data visualization enable UNDP personnel to analyze and associate data and products properly.
Volunteer duration and working hours:
6-10 hours per week for 2 weeks.
Eligibility criteria:
- The online volunteer is expected to have advanced skills in developing Power BI reports. Mainly focused in developing graphs that enable comparative analysis to compare trends during a certain period of time or project data to get an outlook on certain trends.
- Required languages: Arabic and English.
Volunteer task:
- The graph requires multiple filters for the comparison data, for example, a graph showing the comparison of theft incidents between 2019, 2020 and 2021 for February.
- We will collaborate with the Selected candidate through regular Zoom or Teams calls to provide him/her with the requested information
- The design and its layout should follow our corporate design guidelines, which will be shared with online volunteers in advance.
