UN Volunteers platform is offering an online volunteer opportunity to work with PAAJAF, that is looking for an enthusiastic and committed volunteer who is willing to dedicate his/her time towards designing the technology education for children in age group from 2 to 9. This course requires knowledge of computers, electronics, and microprocessor.
PAAJAF (Providing Adolescents and Adults Jobs for Advancement in Future) Foundation is a small but very ambitious NGO. It aims to help end poverty and illiteracy in community across Ghana by providing programs that will contribute to better life opportunities for our children, adult and community. We believe that education is the only permanent answer that will enable entire communities to fulfill their dreams with dignity.
To help us achieve our goal we need collaborative effort from Technology education volunteers who have sound knowledge of computer and IT systems, electronics and microprocessors and would enable us in designing technology education for children.
Duration and working hours:
6-10 hours per week for overall six weeks.
Eligibility criteria:
- Proficient in C language and Knowledge of computer and electronics,
- Knowledge of microprocessors, Communicative and enthusiastic,
- Willing to spend 8-10 hours per week.
- Previous experience in volunteering is a plus.
- Must have Bachelor or Master’s in the field of computer/electronics or any other technical field.
- Ability to communicate in English.
