Opportunity description

The Youth Citizen Entrepreneurship Competition is a global program that aims to empower young entrepreneurs to create a sustainable world. The program is organized by: Goi Peace Foundation, Stiftung Entrepreneurship, Digital Experts United. This global platform empowers young entrepreneurs from around the world to engage in a more peaceful world. Participants are invited to submit their innovative ideas and projects with a societal impact, which champion and implement the sustainable development goals.

There are two categories to participate in this competition:

  • Idea Category: All the entries consist of innovative solution or proposition for an enterprise that champions the Sustainable Development Goals. They can be on the conceptual, planning, or start-up stage.
  • Project Category: All the entries consist of innovative projects run by existing enterprises in the form of businesses, NGOs or informal programs.

  • Grand Prize.
  • Second Prize.
  • Third Prize.
  • People's Choice Prize: will be given to the entry with the largest number of votes in each of the two categories.

Eligibility criteria

Individuals and groups of young people are invited to participate and applicants must:

  • Be between the ages of 15 and 35.
  • Have an innovative idea for an enterprise which contributes to the Sustainable Development Goals. Or he is operating such an enterprise in the form of a business, a non-profit organization or an informal program.
  • Be able to submit your entry in English.

Notes:

  • The finalists will be given the opportunity to attend the Entrepreneurship Summit in Berlin on 19 October 2019, where the top three winners from each category will be announced from each category.
  • It is important that you interact with the online campus community for entrepreneurship to improve your idea / project and comment constructively on other entries. You are also invited to attend free online courses at the Entrepreneurship Campus.
  • The final candidates will be determined according to the "Personal Activity Indicator" algorithm.

About The Competition: 

The competition offers the youth from around the world the chance to submit their ideas and projects. Those that have passed the preliminary screening will be posted on the competition website, and may receive comments and recommendations from the Entrepreneurship Campus online community. Successful candidates are encouraged to interact with the Entrepreneurship Campus online community, and to join the free online courses at the Entrepreneurship Campus. As the winners will be chosen according to the entrant’s personal engagement among the Entrepreneurship Campus community by commenting and giving advice to other entries, the number of free online courses and related exercises in entrepreneurship education (eight courses in total) the entrant has taken, and the assignments the entrant has done that are given to members of the campus and are posted on the website; in addition to the number of votes the entrant’s idea or project has obtained by 31st August 2019.
