Anansi Archive is running a writing competition throughout the year, including categories for poetry, flash fiction, and short stories. There is no set theme.
Poetry
- Up to 500 words
- Entry fee: £1 per entry
- Prize: First £20, runner-up £10
Flash Fiction
- Up to 500 words
- Entry fee: £1 per entry
- Prize: First £20, runner-up £10
Short Fiction
- Up to 3,000 words
- Entry fee: £3 per entry
- Prize: First £50, runner-up £20
In addition to cash prizes, Anansi will showcase the work on their website and hope to publish the best entries in their periodical anthologies.
