Anthology Magazine is now accepting entries for the Anthology Nature Writing Competition 2026, one of the international awards and competitions open to writers and creatives from around the world. The competition aims to celebrate the beauty of nature and encourage outstanding literary writing that explores the relationship between humans and the natural world.
Submissions may explore a wide range of topics, including wildlife, forests, gardens, environmental challenges, personal experiences in nature, or the psychological and therapeutic impact of nature. The piece must be original, previously unpublished, written in English, and no longer than 1,500 words.

Eligibility criteria
Applicants are eligible to enter if they:
- Are from any country or nationality worldwide.
- Are of any age, as there is no age limit.
- Submit an original work written by themselves.
- Submit a piece that has not been previously published.
- Write the submission in English.
- Ensure that the text does not exceed 1,500 words.
- Do not use Generative AI to create the submitted work.
Entry Conditions
- The work must be original and previously unpublished.
- Revised or rewritten versions of previously published material are not accepted.
- The maximum submission length is 1,500 words.
- The text must be written in English.
- Writers may submit an unlimited number of entries.
- A separate form and entry fee are required for each submission.
- Entries are judged based on emotional impact, creativity, and the ability to engage the reader.
- Copyright remains with the writer, while Anthology retains first publication rights for certain selected works.
- The use of generative AI in submissions is prohibited.
