Opportunity description

Teatr Brama, a cultural and theater association in Poland, has announced an individual volunteering opportunity under the European Solidarity Corps program. The project lasts for one full year in the Polish city of Goleniów.

The opportunity targets young people interested in theater, photography, video production, graphic design, music, social media management, and cultural work. Volunteers will take part in the daily life of the theater, organize events and festivals, work with the local community, and develop individual or group projects based on their interests and skills.

Benefits

Duties & responsibilities

The volunteer may participate in a variety of activities, including:

  1. Assisting in delivering weekly theater workshops for different age groups.
  2. Participating in the preparation and organization of cultural events.
  3. Contributing to the organization of a theater festival.
  4. Taking photos and producing videos related to the association’s activities.
  5. Designing visual and graphic materials.
  6. Managing or supporting content for social media platforms.
  7. Participating in music and acting activities.
  8. Delivering workshops or activities for members of the local community.
  9. Learning how to write funding applications for projects.
  10. Developing a personal or group project that matches the volunteer’s interests.
  11. Participating in the daily life of Teatr Brama Association and working with its team.
  12. Taking active responsibility for designing and benefiting from the learning experience.

Eligibility criteria

The organizing entity is looking for applicants interested in one or more of the following fields:

  1. Photography.
  2. Video filming and production.
  3. Graphic design.
  4. Social media management.
  5. Acting and theater.
  6. Music.
  7. Cultural work and event organization.

Applicants should preferably:

  1. Be aware of what they would like to learn during the project.
  2. Be able to share their skills or experience with others.
  3. Have clear ideas about the activities or work they would like to implement.
  4. Be ready to live and work within an international group throughout the project period.
  5. Be committed to participating from October 1, 2026, to September 30, 2027.
