Online Volunteer in the Field of Writing from UNV

UNV offers an online volunteer opportunity and announces its need for support from 10 volunteers with previous experience in journalistic writing to help the UNITAR Division within new training programs which have been launched to reach out to more people who need learning opportunities for their communities and countries. Each participant in these training programs has different background and history; thus, publishing each participant's story will make a positive impact on future participants. So, support by motivated online volunteers will help the Division better provide success stories and encourage future participants.

You will be responsible for:

• Support the writing of a participant story based on written reports and/or interviewed materials. 
• The article to be developed is a +/- 3-page story in English that describes the impact of the training programs. 
• Conduct preparatory research about the background information such as the current situations of the countries/areas where the participants are in/from, and relevant topics in the fields of the programs.

You should follow the following criteria:

• This program is open to 10 volunteers.
• Program Period: 1 week (6 - 10 h).
• Have work experience in writing in the fields of communications, public information, journalism, or related fields.
• Proficient in the English Language.
