Competition for Developers from Devpost and a Chance to Win Many Prizes

Devpost invites developers, data scientists, and storage fanatics of all backgrounds and skill levels to participate in a competition; CORTX & Filecoin Integration Challenge 2022, which seeks to expand the possibilities of data by making it easier to move, store, and activate data at scale. This is your chance to share in change the way the world does data by connecting CORTX™— Seagate’s open-source object storage software — with the tools and platforms that underpin the data revolution. You can create integrations using either the S3 API or by connecting directly with Motr, the object store that powers CORTX. Alternatively, build a prototype solution that uses CORTX to store IPFS/Filecoin data.

If you are among the winners, you will have:  

Overall prizes:

• 1st Place: $7,500 USD
• 2nd Place: $5,500 USD
• 3rd Place: $3,000 USD
• 4th Place: $1,500 USD
• 5th Place: $500 USD

Bonus prizes:

• 1st Place Filecoin Cryptocurrency: $4,500 FIL
• 2nd Place Filecoin Cryptocurrency: $3,500 FIL
• 3rd Place Filecoin Cryptocurrency: $2,000 FIL
• CORTX Motr: $2,000 USD

You must follow the following criteria:

• The Hackathon IS open to: 
• Individuals who are at least the age of majority where they reside as of the time of entry.
• Teams of Eligible Individuals.
• Organizations (including corporations, not-for-profit corporations and other nonprofit organizations, limited liability companies, partnerships, and other legal entities) that exist and have been organized or incorporated at the time of entry.
• An Eligible Individual may join more than one Team or Organization and an Eligible Individual who is part of a Team or Organization may also enter the Hackathon on an individual basis.
• The Hackathon is NOT open to: 
• Individuals who are residents of, or Organizations domiciled in, a country, state, province, or territory where the laws of the United States or local law prohibit participating or receiving a prize in the Hackathon.
• Organizations and any other individual involved with the design, production, paid promotion, execution, or distribution of the Hackathon.
• Include a text description that should explain the features and functionality of your Project.
• Explain how the Project allows teams to work in a more conscious way regarding climate change.
• Identify that the Project has been uploaded to the monday.com app marketplace.
• Include a demonstration video of your Project. The video portion of the submission:
• should be less than three (3) minutes.
• should include footage that shows the Project functioning on the monday apps framework platform must be uploaded to and made publicly visible on YouTube, Vimeo, Facebook Video, or Youku, and a link to the video must be provided on the submission form on the Hackathon Website.
• Be the original work of the submitter, be solely owned by the submitter, and not violate the IP rights of any other person or entity.
• You may submit more than one Submission, however, each submission must be unique.
• All Submission materials must be in English or, if not in English, the Entrant must provide an English translation.
