Opportunity description
Zain company offers a Cyber Security internship in Bahrain. Your responsibilities will include providing security during the development stages of software systems, networks, and data centers, searching for vulnerabilities and risks in hardware and software, as well as the management and monitoring any attacks and intrusions within the organization.

Eligibility criteria
You will be responsible for:
- Safeguards information system assets by identifying and solving potential and actual security problems.
- Support the team to conduct threat and risk analysis and provide essential suggestions.
- Aid in performing research, testing, evaluation, and deployment of security procedures.
- Support in the collection and analysis of data and assist in eliminating risk, performance, and capacity issues.
- Assists the team in determining security violations and inefficiencies by conducting periodic audits.
- Keeps users informed by preparing performance reports; communicating system status.
- Keep up to date and evaluate security-related technologies.

You must have:
The required qualifications and experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, Cyber Security, Network Engineering, or any other related field.
- Bahrain nationality.
- Exceptional academic record is a plus.
- Job-related professional certificate(s) is a plus.
- Job-related experience of up to 3 years is a plus.
- Age between 21-27 years old.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Fresh graduate within 3 years of graduation.
- Fluent in English; strong Arabic skills are preferred.
The required competencies:
- Proven ability to work with others successfully within a team.
- Ability to liaise effectively and coordinate successfully with internal and external stakeholders and other third parties.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with broad, general responsibilities, but with specialist cyber security subject skills.
- Strong understanding of the operational workings of cyber security elements.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and time management skills.
