Opportunity description

The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) offers a funded scholarship for outstanding students and graduates from developing and emerging countries, including Jordan, to pursue a Master’s degree in Germany in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). The scholarship aims to support young academics and future professionals in continuing their academic and professional paths in innovation-related fields at German universities.

The scholarship covers a full-time, on-campus Master’s degree program at a public or officially recognized university in Germany, in fields such as mathematics, computer science, natural sciences, and engineering. The program must be tuition-free. The scholarship does not cover Master’s programs that have already started in Germany.

Benefits

  • A monthly stipend of EUR 992.
  • Health, accident, and personal liability insurance coverage.
  • A travel allowance, if applied for.
  • An annual study allowance of EUR 460.
