Eligibility criteria
You should follow the following criteria:
- Applicants for a study place have to apply for a study place first before applying for the scholarship.
- You need to be enrolled at the University of Mannheim and complete your degree within the standard period of study.
- Students of any bachelor’s, master’s may apply for the Scholarship.
- Students pursuing a second or additional degree are also eligible for funding.
- You can submit up to three applications for admission to a master's program.
- Explain in your letter of motivation that funding is required for pursuing a master's degree.
- Scholarship payments will begin in October and will be effected retrospectively as of August.
- The scholarship is initially granted for one year.
- An extension of the funding period depends on your academic performance and on further funding agreements with funding organizations.

- Excellent extra-curricular activity such as:
- sports achievements.
- social commitment.
- Special personal circumstances and background.
