The Doha Institute for Graduate Studies is an independent academic institution established in 2015. It offers graduate programs in social sciences and humanities, public administration, development economics, psychology, and social work, as well as conflict and humanitarian studies. The Doha Institute Scholarship is a fully funded program awarded based on academic excellence or financial need. It covers full tuition fees and provides several benefits, including on-campus housing, a monthly living allowance, health insurance, and in some cases, round-trip airfare.

Eligibility criteria
- Students cannot combine this scholarship with another grant, nor can those who have previously benefited from the program apply again.
- A good academic standing is required to maintain the scholarship.
- Master’s Programs: Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree with a “Very Good” GPA or higher, and provide proof of proficiency in Arabic or English as required.
- PhD Programs: Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree (minimum GPA 3.50/4.00) and a Master’s degree (minimum GPA 3.75/4.00) from a recognized university, with strong proficiency in Arabic and English.
- For PhD programs, scholarships are awarded in stages: coursework, reading phase, and dissertation writing, each linked to specific academic performance standards.
