Drawing of the Year from Archisource with Prizes Worth of £10,000

Archisource has launched The Drawing of the Year competition, Archisource presents the Drawing of the Year 2021, our third annual, international competition - now completely free for students and just £5 per drawing for professionals early entry! The Drawing of the Year celebrates the very best, outstanding drawings created by students and professionals around the world each year.

• In our biggest year to date, the prizes have more than doubled with over £10,000 GBP ($13,500 USD) worth of prizes to be won across four categories, as well as international publication of the winning works. This year we are collaborating with another exciting collection of partners to offer some amazing prizes including; bespoke physical awards by SANDHELDEN, beautiful watches from Holzkern, luxury carryalls from Atelier YUL:, Enscape software licenses, graphics displays from XP-PEN, lighting solutions from Daylight, HUGE stationery bundles from edding and London Graphic Center, creative books by gestalten and a designer chair from Case Furniture.
• Several drawings in each category will also receive bespoke physical Commendation Awards by SANDHELDEN. Enscape will also commend an outstanding image created with Enscape software, offering a 1 Year Professional License prize.

• four award categories to win, we’re looking for drawings in any medium and style that brilliantly communicate their subjects - the competition is by no means limited to architecture! Anyone, any industry, of any experience is welcome to enter. Whether it be hand-drawn or painted, rendered or collaged, detailed linework or diagram – our judges want to see it.
• When entering your drawings, you will automatically be entered into all four categories as follows:
• Drawing of the Year Award: Top accolade for stand-out drawing of 2021
• Architectural Award: Exemplar architectural communicator
• Environmental Award: Exemplar environmental / sustainable approach
• Narrative Award: Exemplar commutator of wider narrative / dialogue
• Commendations: Several images per category will be commended.
• Enscape Commendation: Enscape will also be awarding an ‘Enscape Commendation’ to an outstanding image created with their software.
• Each category will be judged on: Originality of approach, style and/or content; Use of media and the graphic and aesthetic quality; Ability to represent and communicate intent or narrative; Extent of impact and proposition.
