Sosyal Fabrika Sürdürülebilir Kalkınma Derneği is offering an individual volunteering opportunity under the European Solidarity Corps (ESC) in Adana, Türkiye. The opportunity is designed for young people aged 18 to 30 who are interested in gaining international experience while contributing to community, cultural, and youth-focused activities.
The project focuses on youth work, supporting and empowering people with fewer opportunities, and implementing cultural and artistic activities. Both short-term and long-term volunteering opportunities are available, allowing participants to engage in a volunteering experience that matches the project structure and available duration.
Volunteering Benefits and Funding
Accepted participants receive:
- Coverage of accommodation costs during the volunteering period.
- Accommodation in the organization’s guesthouse, equipped with the necessary facilities.

Volunteering Areas and Activities
The project focuses on three main areas:
- Social Challenges: Activities supporting young people and individuals with fewer opportunities.
- Employability and Entrepreneurship: Activities aimed at developing young people’s skills, capabilities, and future opportunities.
- Creativity and Culture: Participation in cultural, creative, and artistic initiatives and activities.
Duties & responsibilities
- Participating in youth work activities organized by the association.
- Contributing to activities targeting disadvantaged individuals and groups, supporting their development and community participation.
- Participating in the organization and implementation of cultural and artistic activities.
- Contributing to initiatives addressing social challenges and issues.
- Participating in activities related to youth development and enhancing opportunities for employment and entrepreneurship.
- Contributing to initiatives related to creativity and culture.
- Collaborating with the association’s team and other volunteers in implementing various activities throughout the project period.
- Actively participating in the volunteering program and following the guidance and mentoring provided by the organization.
Eligibility criteria
To apply for the volunteering opportunity, applicants must:
- Be between 18 and 30 years old.
- Have strong motivation and genuine interest in volunteering.
- Be from one of the countries eligible to participate in the project.
- Be willing to actively participate in youth and community activities.
- Have an interest in one or more of the project’s focus areas, such as youth work, social development, culture and arts, or entrepreneurship.
