Internship Opportunity in the Field of Financial Technology in Bahrain at Zain Company

Zain Company offers a fintech internship opportunity in Bahrain. CODE 2030 is an 18-month, tech-based employment program, focused on fostering the development of the skills and competencies needed to equip Bahrain’s youth in the technological field. This role involves support in the implementation and project planning of Fintech-related tasks.

The program will include:

• 18 months of employment within Zain Bahrain’s Technical Departments.
• Online Courses & Certifications.
• Department Rotations.
• Mentoring & Coaching during the internship.

Your Responsibilities and Duties:

• Prepare reports & presentations to management regarding the project status.
• Support in crystalizing the product offering as part of a fintech proposition in Bahrain.
• Support in outlining the optimal UX/UI keeping in mind a customer-centric approach.
• Update all the Project Plan KPIs and reporting metrics required by management.
• Deal with Financial Models & Business Plans.
• Support in developing a fintech proposition for Zain Bahrain.
• Support the project team in making sure that the project implementation plan activities are on track.
• Support the project teams in ad-hoc tasks & activities.

The required qualifications and experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Banking & Finance, Economics, or any other related field.
• Bahrain nationality.
• Exceptional academic record is a plus.
• Job-related professional certificate(s) is a plus.
• Job-related experience of up to 3 years is a plus.
• Your age must be between 21-27 years old.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Fresh graduate within 3 years of graduation.
• Fluent in English; strong Arabic skills are preferred.

The required competencies and skills:

• Understands the Bahraini market and its needs.
• Handled roles in Fintech & product management.
• Exposure to payments/wallets, remittance, deposits, and credit/debit card business & Fintech in general.
• Knowledge of Retail banking (payments, cards, loans, etc.) workflow.
• Up to date with all new digital capabilities applicable for Fintechs and retail banking businesses
• Excellent written and oral communication skills and strong executive presence.
• Excellent team player & stakeholder management.
• Familiar with Financial Modeling & Microsoft Excel.
• Overall solid knowledge of PowerPoint & other MS platforms.
