Opportunity description

The Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs has launched the Enterprising Futures Scholarship Program through the Dutch Enterprise Agency (RVO), in collaboration with the organization One World Youth, to offer a scholarship supporting young entrepreneurs… who lead scalable startups or small to medium-sized enterprises with a social or environmental impact.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Leading or participating in a scalable startup or a small to medium-sized enterprise with a clear social and/or environmental impact, either as an entrepreneur or in a similar role.
  • Applicants must be citizens or residents of one of the following countries: Ethiopia, Jordan, Lebanon, Mozambique, Uganda, Tunisia, Palestine, Egypt, Côte d’Ivoire, Kenya, Morocco, Nigeria, Senegal, Benin, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Ghana, South Africa, Burundi, Iraq (including the Kurdistan Region of Iraq), Sudan, Mali, and Algeria.
  • All candidates will be required to have a practical understanding of the English language.
  • Applicants must be available to join the program full-time between 30 October and 7 November, in addition to other dates before and after the program.
