Scholarship Overview
The Commonwealth Scholarship is a prestigious award aimed at assisting talented individuals from Commonwealth countries to pursue higher education in the UK without financial burden. It is funded by the UK government and managed by the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission in the UK.

Eligibility criteria
- Must be a citizen or refugee of an eligible Commonwealth country
- Permanently resident in an eligible country
- Hold at least a 2:1 undergraduate degree (or 2:2 + relevant postgraduate qualification)
- Cannot afford UK study without the scholarship
- Must be ready to start studies in September 2026
