The Joint Japan/World Bank Graduate Scholarship Program (JJ/WBGSP) is an esteemed program offering full funding for master's degrees in development-related fields. Financial Benefits and Coverage
- Economy class airfare between your home country and the host university at the start and end of your study program, plus a US $600 travel allowance per trip.
- Tuition coverage for your graduate program and basic medical insurance obtained through the university.
- A monthly subsistence allowance covering all living expenses including accommodation, food, and books. The allowance amount varies based on the host country.
Eligibility Requirements
- Be a national of a World Bank member developing country (as per the list provided).
- Do not hold dual citizenship of any developed country.
- Be in good health.
- Hold a bachelor's (or equivalent) degree for at least three years prior to the application deadline.
- Be employed in development-related work in a full-time paid position at the time of application and have at least 3 years of employment in this field post-bachelor’s degree.
