The University of Central Oklahoma (UCO) is offering several undergraduate scholarships for international freshman students entering fall 2021 & Spring 2022.
Benefits
President’s Leadership Council Scholarship:
Total 4 years: $45,500 ($11,375 per year). Combination of scholarships, tuition waivers, on-campus housing & meal allowance.
Leaders of Tomorrow Council Scholarship:
Total 4 years: $33,000 ($8,250 per year). Combination of scholarships, tuition waivers, on-campus housing & meal allowance.
Freshman Merit Global Scholar Scholarship:
Total 2 years: Up to $4,000 ($2,000 per year). Combination of scholarship and tuition waivers.
Eligibility criteria
President’s Leadership Council Scholarship (PLC):
- Incoming freshmen with a minimum 3.00 GPA, active involvement in three or more student organizations.
- Student has not earned any college or post-high school credit hours.
- Emphasis on Organizational Leadership.
- Limited scholarships are available.
- Application is required. Selected finalists will be interviewed.
- Deadline for application: 15th May (Fall).
Leaders of Tomorrow Council Scholarship (LOT):
- Incoming freshmen with a minimum 2.75 GPA, active involvement in two or more student organizations, demonstrated community service efforts.
- Student has not earned any college or post-high school credit hours.
- Emphasis on Servant Leadership.
- Limited scholarships are available.
- Application is required. Selected finalists will be interviewed.
- Deadline for application: 15th May (Fall).
Freshman Merit Global Scholar Scholarship:
- Incoming freshmen with minimum 3.25 GPA or SAT 1200 or ACT24(Scholastic Achievement Test (SAT) combined score from the Math & Verbal component.)
- The student has not earned any college or post-high school credit hours.
- Renewable with 3.00 cumulative UCO GPA or higher.
- No application is required.
- Scholarship credits will be credited from the 2nd to 4th semester.
- Non-stackable with PLC or LOT or Legacy Waiver.
- Deadline for application: 1st November (Spring), and 31st May (Fall).
