Alianza por la Solidaridad-ActionAid Spain offers a fully funded international volunteering opportunity in Madrid, Spain, through the European Solidarity Corps program. Volunteers will participate in a digital awareness campaign focused on combating misinformation, promoting critical thinking, and supporting human rights in the digital space. The experience lasts for two months and includes practical training in social campaign design, digital content creation, and communication and media tools within a multicultural international environment.

Duties & responsibilities

  • Participate in developing and implementing digital awareness campaigns focused on combating misinformation
  • Contribute to creating digital content and communication materials
  • Work within a multicultural international team on social and awareness activities
  • Attend training sessions and workshops related to human rights, communication, and community campaigns
  • Support the organization’s activities and participate in events and initiatives throughout the volunteering period

Eligibility criteria

  • Applicants should be interested in volunteering and teamwork
  • Interest in human rights, sustainability, and social issues
  • Willingness to explore new cultures and work within a multicultural environment
  • Interest in content creation or the use of social media platforms
  • Knowledge of Spanish is preferred but not mandatory
