The University of Cambridge, in partnership with the Amjad & Suha Bseisu Foundation, is accepting applications for the Bseisu-University of Cambridge Scholarship for the 2027–2028 academic year. The scholarship is intended for students from Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, and Palestine who wish to pursue a full-time Master’s degree at the University of Cambridge in the United Kingdom.
The scholarship aims to remove financial barriers for outstanding students from the Levant region and enable them to study at one of the world’s leading universities. It can be used for a wide range of Master’s programmes at Cambridge, with priority given to applicants pursuing Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) fields.

Eligibility criteria
To be eligible, applicants must:
- Be a citizen of Jordan, Palestine, Syria, or Lebanon.
- Be a new prospective applicant to the University of Cambridge.
- Apply to an eligible full-time Master’s programme.
- Be classified as an international student with Overseas Fee Status.
- Meet all academic and English language requirements for their chosen programme.
- Submit a complete admission application before the programme’s Funding Deadline.
- Have a strong academic record, as the scholarship is awarded based on Academic Merit.
- Demonstrate financial need, as Financial Need is also considered in funding decisions.
- Applicants to STEM programmes are given priority in the competition.
Is a Separate Scholarship Application Required?
No separate application to the Bseisu Foundation is required.
Applicants are considered through their University of Cambridge postgraduate admission application, provided they complete the funding section of the application and submit it before the funding deadline for their chosen programme.
