Opportunity description

The Humanities Research Fellowship for the Study of the Arab World at New York University Abu Dhabi (NYU Abu Dhabi) has opened applications for the sixth edition of the Graduate Student Research Workshop 2027, titled “New Directions in the Study of the Arab World.”

The workshop will take place in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, from April 5 to 7, 2027, and is intended for international PhD students who have reached the dissertation-writing stage and are conducting research related to the Arab world.

This opportunity is considered one of the distinguished funded research programs for PhD students, with up to 12 doctoral students from around the world selected to participate. The program covers travel expenses to Abu Dhabi, accommodation, and meals throughout the workshop.
