AMKE KENTRO NEON IPEIROU is offering an individual volunteering opportunity in Ioannina, Greece through the European Solidarity Corps (ESC), aimed at young people interested in working with youth and young adults, organizing cultural and social activities, and creating digital content.
The volunteer will support a local youth center by organizing weekly or monthly events and workshops. Activities may focus on culture and language, arts and crafts, social issues affecting young people, the environment, combating xenophobia, and LGBTQ+ issues, depending on the volunteer’s skills and interests.
The volunteer will also help plan and implement small events linked to annual occasions and awareness days, contribute to managing social media for the youth section, and produce digital content on local cultural heritage and social issues affecting young people through video, podcasts, photography, research, article writing, and exhibitions.

Duties & responsibilities
- Organize events and activities for young people.

Eligibility criteria
- Applicants must be between 22 and 30 years old.
- Have a good command of English.
- Be able to work independently and take responsibility.
- Be willing to regularly propose and implement activities.
- Be able to work effectively within an international team.
- Demonstrate flexibility and creativity.
- Be able to lead activities for groups of young people.
- Experience in non-formal education and youth work is considered a strong advantage.
- Experience in video production and digital content creation is considered an additional asset.
