Opportunity description

YouNet APS has opened applications for one of the most prominent funded international volunteering opportunities under the European Solidarity Corps program in Bologna, Italy. The volunteering placement will last a total of 24 weeks.

The opportunity is designed for young people interested in digital communication, content creation, social media management, graphic design, and non-formal education. Volunteers will work in an international and multicultural environment while contributing to the promotion of European values, opportunities, and activities aimed at young people and adults.

This opportunity is suitable for young people seeking international volunteering experience in Italy and practical exposure to digital media, communication, and European projects. Volunteers will support the management of YouNet’s social media platforms and EU-funded projects. They will also contribute to developing the online communication strategy of the European Mobility Department through websites, e-learning platforms, video production, photography, blogging, and social media.

Duties & responsibilities

The volunteer’s responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the management of YouNet’s social media accounts.
  • Creating content for projects funded by the European Union.
  • Contributing to the development of the European Mobility Department’s digital communication strategy.
  • Updating and managing content published on websites.
  • Helping prepare materials for e-learning platforms.
  • Filming and producing videos related to activities and projects.
  • Taking photographs and documenting events.
  • Writing articles and blog posts.
  • Creating engaging content for social media platforms.
  • Promoting European opportunities and programs.
  • Raising awareness of European Union values among young people and adults.
  • Promoting training courses, workshops, and seminars.
  • Supporting the promotion of local conferences and events.
  • Raising awareness of language exchange activities.
  • Sharing news and updates about ongoing international projects.
  • Designing digital content that reflects the volunteer’s ideas and skills.
  • Collaborating with an international team of staff members and volunteers.
  • Participating in non-formal education activities.

Eligibility criteria
